What is the Refugee Action Network

The Refugee Action Network comprises individuals and groups from a broad range of backgrounds. Our common ground lies in our shared disgust and outrage at the Australian government's treatment of refugees and our determination to bring about change to the current refugee policy. Through our activities we seek to educate and inform the people of Darwin and the NT about the human impact of the government's refugee policy.

What can I do?

There are many ways that you can help to build the campaign for refugee rights. The Refugee Action Network holds regular information stalls, campaign meetings, public discussion and protest rallies. We can also help you to access information and publications that will assist you in informing your school, workplace or campus about the plight of refugees in this country. We can also provide speakers about refugee rights issues for meetings or school groups.

To produce information and to run campaigns that can challenge the government's refugee policy and all the lies and misinformation that surround it - takes money. The Refugee Action Network relies entirely on donations from supporters. So give what you can - because every donation, large or small adds up to enable the truth to get out to more people.
